How to Cook Hungry Jona's Ultimate Grilled Shrimp Tostada #shorts | Tastemade

Long weekend goals: bringing @hungry_jona’s grilled shrimp tostada to life.

Ingredients:

1 lb shrimp
2 tbsp chipotle seasoning
1-2 flour tortillas
4-5 jalapeños
1/2 white onion
1 tbsp pickling spice
1 avocado
3 Roma tomato
1 small chipotle pepper
A lot of garlic cloves
1 can black beans
1 bay leaf
3 limes
Red wine vinegar
Aleppo pepper
1 tbsp Mexican oregano
1 small red onion
1/2 can corn
Neutral oil for cooking
Queso Fresco
2 eggs for frying
Cilantro for garnish
Sugar
Water

Directions:

1. Slice jalapeños, chop white onion, garlic and add pickling spice to a mason jar. Bring to a simmer equal parts water, vinegar and 1 heaping tbsp of sugar, once sugar is dissolved pour over contents and place in fridge upside down.
2. Oil a sheet tray, add tomato, jalapeño, garlic and season, then roast for 10 min or until nicely charred, add chipotle pepper, lime juice and make a salsa.
3. Make guacamole and pickle your red onions in lime salt and water.
4. Season shrimp and sear on griddle with oil, and remove.
5. Char your corn and make your black bean paste ( boil beans in water, onion, and bay leaf)
6. Slice your meat, fry flour tortilla and build with a fried egg.
