How To Prepare Nunum Beef Beans Stew

INGREDIENTS
pound beef fillet, diced.
1 cup black eyed beans, parboiled.
2 fingers ripe plantain
1 medium onion, sliced.
1 tsp oregano
4 scotch bonnet pepper, chopped.
1 tsp black pepper
A handful of wild African basil (nunum), sliced.
1 tbsp salt
cup palm oil

DIRECTION
Pour diced beef fillet into a saucepan, add sliced onion, oregano, scotch bonnet pepper, black pepper, salt, water, stir, cover and bring to a boil for 10 minutes.
Add wild African basil, stir and let boil for 5 minutes.
Add parboiled black eyed beans, stir and let cook for 10 minutes.
Add plantain, adjust salt to your taste and let cook for 7 minutes.
Add palm oil, stir and let simmer down for another 7 minutes.
Nunum beef beans stew ready to serve
