How to Make Som Tum Thai (Green Papaya Salad) without a mortar Thai Girl in the Kitchen

Hi there! It's Pam. Today let's see how to make Papaya Salad or Som Tum.
The reason why I call it Som Tum Thai is because there're meny recipes of it :)
Som Tum Laos, Som Tum Plara, Som Tum Phu, etc.

Som Tum Thai is the easiest version to start for those who are not used to strong tastes from South East Asia like fermented fish sauce, pickled crabs, etc.
It leads with sweetness, sourness and a little saltiness meanwhile the other recipes of Som Tum usually lead with saltiness, spicy and sour.

Usually we make Som Tum with mortar and pestle but if you don't have it, today I'm going to share how to.

- Carrot a little bit
- Long Green Beans
- Tomato
- Garlic
- Chilis as you like
- Roasted Peanuts


- Fish Sauce 2 tbsp
- Lime Juice 2 tbsp
- Palm Sugar 1 tbsp
