How to Cook Ofe Owerri

Ofe Owerri is a thick soup prepared with very finely shredded okazi (a type of herb common in Nigeria) and cocoyam which serves as a thickener; it is unarguably the most famous, rich, and expensive Owerri soup that people have rendered songs about it.

Ingredients:
- 500g assorted meat
- 8 pieces of cocoyams
- 8 pieces of snails, snails
- 1 cup of dried prawns
- 1 medium-sized stockfish head
- 3 medium dried fish (Azu Okpo)
- cup of dried ukazi
- A handful of uziza/ugu leaves
- 2-3 stock cube
- 1 wrap ogiri igbo
- 3 scotch bonnets or dried pepper
- 2 tablespoons ground crayfish
- Salt to taste
