HOW TO COOK EGUSI SOUP WITH VEGETABLE / SPINACH *IGBO STYLE*

How To Cook Egusi Soup with Vegetable, Spinach, Fresh-tomatoes and Icefish. The Fried method was used in the preparation.It is basically a healthy nutritious way to make and cook Nigerian Egusi soup or Nigerian egusi soup recipe.this Egusi soup Nigerian or egusi soup recipe is packed with healthy natural flavor.


So,if your search is on how to cook egusi soup with the fried Method,be rest assured that this video or Egusi recipe was basically done with the Frying method.



It is purely an Igbo and Nigerian style of cooking except with the little twists i made with the ingredients.


As an Igbo woman this recipe is applicable to any Igbo, Nigerian and African kitchen.

11/2 KG BEEF (APPROX)
2 ICE FISHES
700G SHAKI/TOWEL BEEF
600G EGUSI
I CUP DRYFISH NOT POWDER
4 MEDIUM SIZE FRESH TOMATOES
2 SWEET PEPPERS
2 SET KNOR CUBES
3 SPICY HOT PEPPERS
1 TSP GARLIC POWDER
2 TSP THYME (OPTIONAL)
1 TSP OREGANO
1 TBS BLACK PEPPER
1 TSP BASIL
2 BIG SIZED ONIONS
1/2 CUP PALMOIL
1/2 CUP VEGETABLE OIL (OPTIONAL)
6 CLOVES OF GARLIC
SALT TO TASTE
1 BIG PACK OF FRESH SPINACH
WATER AS REQUIRED
