Hot and Sour Soup is a popular soup in China and other parts of Asia. It is made by chicken broth with vinegar, soy sauce, and chili pepper. The soup is then simmered until the flavors have melded. Some people like to add additional ingredients such as bamboo shoots, mushrooms, or enoki mushrooms. The soup is typically served with rice and a side of pickled vegetables.

INGREDIENTS:

FOR STOCK
Chicken ----------------- 100g (shred)
Water / Pani ---------- 1000ml (1 Litter)
Onion / Pyaz ---------- 1 medium
Black Cardmom / Badi Elaichi --------- 2 pcs
Ginger / Adrak -------- Small piece

FOR SOUP
Add shredded chicken
Cabbage / Bang Gobhi -------------- 1 cup
Capsicum / Shimla Mirch ---------- 1 cup
Salt / Namak ------------------------------ 1 tbsp
Black Pepper / Kali Mirch ----------- 1 tsp
White Pepper / Safaid Mirch ------ 1 tsp
Soy Sauce ------------- 2 tbsp
Chilli Sauce ----------- 2 tbsp
Vinegar ------------------ 2 tbsp
Corn flour --------------- 2 tbsp (add water and mix well)
Egg ------------------------- 2 (well beaten)

FOR SAUCE
Garlic / Lehsan ------- 1 tbsp (chopped)
Salt / Namak ---------- 1 tsp
Chilli Flakes / Dara Mirch ------ 1 tsp
Sesame Seeds / Safaid Till --- 1 tsp
Oil ---------------------------- 4 tbsp (use hot oil)
