The best bits of the Hong Island (Koh Hong or Ko Hong) tour, in Krabi Thailand. Showing Koh Hong Lagoon, the beach and some other parts.Hong Island is a beautiful island. It has a great beach for swimming and snorkelling, and jungle behind the beach. It's one of my favourite Krabi beaches. Hong Island is not too far from Ao Nang by boat, you can get tours to there from both Ao Nang and Krabi Town. It's definitely worth a look! The tour takes about 8 hours. They pick you up from your hotel at around 8AM and take you to the boat. The first stop is about 30 minutes away, Red Island, where you can snorkel for 30 minutes or so. Then you go to another tropical island for a swim or a snack. Then it's off to Hong Island. You generally go to the lagoon first and then to the main beach for lunch and a couple of hours of swimming and relaxing. I think this tour is one of the best tours in Krabi! It is also available from Phuket.
