Turkish Lahmacun (Turkish Keema Roti)
Ingredients for Marinated Mince:
Chicken mince 500 g
Onions (sliced) 1 cup
Garlic cloves 3-4
Tomato slices 1/2 cup
Green chilies 3-4
Green coriander 1/2 cup
Salt 1 tsp / to taste
Black pepper powder 1 tsp
Coriander powder 1 tbsp
Red chili powder 2 tbsp
Garlic powder 1/2 tbsp
Paprika powder 1 tsp
Turmeric powder 1 tsp
Red chili flakes 1 tbsp

Ingredients for Dough:
All-purpose flour 3 cups
Salt 1 tsp
Yeast 1 tbsp
Water (lukewarm) 2 cups

Ingredients for Keema Roti:
Prepared dough
Mince mixture
Salad (chopped) as required

Directions for Marinated Mince:
1. In a blender add onion, garlic cloves, tomato slices, green chilies, green coriander and blend well into smooth puree.
2. Now add chicken in the blender and blend it well again.
3. Add red chili flakes, turmeric powder, paprika powder, garlic powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, salt and blend it again.
4. Refrigerate for 30 mins.
Directions for Dough Preparation:
5. In a bowl add flour, salt, yeast and mix well. Now add water and knead a smooth dough. let it rest for 10-15 mins. Set aside.
Directions for Keema Roti Preparation:
6. Take the dough and divide it into 8 equal parts.
7. Take one part, make a dough ball and roll it out into flat circle.
8. Now spread a thin layer of mince mixture on the rolled out dough.
9. Transfer it onto preheated pan and cover and cook for 5-6 minutes or until mince is done.
10. Take off flame, and add chopped salad in the center. Make a roll shape and serve.
11. Your Turkish Lahmacun is ready.
