Homemade Nutella spread aka Chocolate Hazelnut Spread

Makes 650 ml

Ingredients:
(220 grams) 2 cups of whole hazelnut, skin removed
(160 grams) 1 cup of icing sugar
(45 grams) 1/3 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder
(185 ml) 3/4 cup of milk
2 tsp. of vanilla extract
1 tsp. vegetable oil
1/8 tsp. of salt

Directions:

1. Preheat oven to 200C.

2. Roast hazelnut for about 10 minutes.

3. Transfer them into a food processor, blitz for about 5 minutes until it turns into a liquid. Scrape down once in a while.

4. Add in the rest of the ingredients. Process until smooth and combined. It may looks runny but once it cools it will get thicker.

5. Transfer them into an airtight container. I put mine into mason jars.

6. Keep them in the fridge so that they can last for up to 4 months.
