The best Mava is the one made at home. However, because of the tedious and time-consuming process involved, one tends to be hesitant. Now let me show you how it can be made at home in just 2 minutes. It saves you time but more importantly, it assures you of quality. Mava is used in making a variety of Indian sweets and I shall be showing you here how to make one, that is Mava Ladoos.

ingredients to make Mava:
1 tbsp Ghee
1/4 cup Milk
11/2 cup Milk powder

Method: Heat Ghee in a pan and add Milk and bring it to a boil. Add Milk powder and mix well. Continue cooking till it leaves the sides of the pan. Once it leaves the sides and forms into a lump, home made Mava is ready. Store it in the Fridge and use as and when required. Here we have used the reverse process and saved time by using Milk powder.

Ingredients for Mava Ladoos:
1 cup Mava
1/2 tsp Cardamom powder
1 tbsp Ghee
1/4 cup Sugar powder
Chopped Almonds and Pistachios

Method: Heat Ghee in a pan and roast the Mava till it changes colour slightly. Add Cardamom powder and mix well. Remove from heat and add the Sugar powder and combine well. Knead this mixture well. Add chopped nuts and shape into ladoos while still warm. Mava Ladoos are ready.
