Bakers Ava & Mia created this gravity-defying hot chocolate cake on this week's episode of "Disney's Magic Bake-Off," just in time for the holidays.Watch past cake creations on Disney Channel and DisneyNOW!Hot Chocolate Cake with Marshmallow Filling and Peppermint Buttercream recipe - Hot Chocolate Cake:INGREDIENTS3 c flour3 c granulated sugar1 ½ c cocoa powder1 ½ t baking powder1 T baking soda1 ½ t kosher salt4 eggs1 ½ c buttermilk½ c vegetable oil2 t vanilla1 ½ c hot water1 packet of hot cocoaINSTRUCTIONSPreheat oven at 350In a mixer with whisk attachment, mix together flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder, sugar, salt and packet of hot cocoa on low speed until combined.On low speed add in eggs, oil, vanilla, and buttermilk.Carefully add hot water. Mix until all combined.Prepare 2-6” pans and 2-8” with baking spray & parchment paper circles.Bake cake for 20-30 mins or until a toothpick comes out clean.Marshmallow Fluff Filling:INGREDIENTS1 c softened butter1 jar marshmallow fluff2 t vanilla3 c powdered sugarINSTRUCTIONSWith a paddle attachment and a clean bowl on your mixer whip together softened butter, marshmallow fluff, vanilla, and powdered sugar.
