Fresh green vegetables cooked with garlic

HEARTY GREENS WITH GARLIC

Ingredients

20-25 fresh spinach leaves
10-12 broccoli florets
1 head pok choy
15-18 garlic cloves
2 tbsps oil
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns (optional)
1 tsp cornstarch mixed with ¼ cup water

Method

1. Slice half the garlic cloves.
2. Heat oil in a non-stick wok and add garlic. Roughly chop spinach and add to the wok.
3. Add broccoli and pok choy, toss and saute. Add ½ cup water and cook. Add salt and mix.
4. If you wish you can add a little crushed black peppercorns. Add 2-3 tsps cornstarch water and cook for 1-2 minutes.
5. Slice the remaining garlic cloves and mix.
6. Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot.
