Healthy Breakfast Parfait | Fruits, Oats & Yogurt Parfait | Easy Breakfast Recipe | Kanak's Kitchen

Learn how to make a Healthy Breakfast Parfait, a very easy to make and nutritious recipe by chef Kanak.

Eating a smart breakfast leads to healthier choices all day long. Chef Kanak brings you an extremely easy to make breakfast parfait recipe that not only tastes delicious but is also very good for health.

Ingredients:

2 cups thick yogurt / Greek style yogurt
3 - 4 tbsp honey
1 cup oats
1/2 cup plain cornflakes
2 tbsp shredded coconut
3 tbsp raisins (golden and black)
2 tbsp chopped walnuts
2 tbsp chocochips
1 tbsp melon seeds
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp flax seeds
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 tsp cinnamon
1 banana chopped
4 - 6 strawberries chopped
1 kiwi chopped
1 apple chopped

Method:

- Preheat the oven at 170 degrees Celsius
- In a large bowl, add the oats, cornflakes, shredded coconut, almonds and walnuts with cinnamon and mix well.
- Spread this mixture evenly on a baking sheet and then put it in the oven to bake for around 8 - 10 minutes. Make sure that they do not change the colour to dark brown.
- In another bowl, add the melon seeds, ssame seeds and the flax seeds and mix well.
- After 5 minutes, add this mixture to the baking sheet in the oven and stir well.
- In a bowl, mix the yogurt well with honey and vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, mix all the fruits together along with few drops of honey (optional)
- Take out the baking sheet from the oven and transfer all the ingredients into the bowl and let it cool down for sometime.
- Once it cools down, add the raisins along with some chocochips.

To assemble:
- Take a jar and add the yogurt to it.
- Add a layer of the toasted mixture and some honey.
- Next, add a layer of the chopped fruits.
- Repeat the layers again.
- The healthy Breakfast Parfait is ready to be served.
