Healthy Beetroot Carrot Juice in 5 min | Madras Curry Channel

A vibrant drink that’s not only delicious but healthy too. Why not try this delicious and healthy raw beet juice which you can make in just 5 minutes?

Shelf life - Consume immediately
Serves - 1

Ingredients:
1. Beetroot, medium sized - 1/2
2. Carrot, medium sized - 1/4
3. Grated coconut - 1 Tbsp (you can also use coconut pieces)
4. Cardamom - 2
5. Water - to dilute the juice (use the same amount as juice to dilute, 1:1 ratio)
6. Palm sugar syrup/ Jaggery powder - to sweeten, as required

Important tips:
1. Raw beet juice should always be diluted with water. If not, for some people it might upset the stomach and you may have increased number of loo visits!
2. If you strain the juice, the pulp can be added to Idli/dosa batter or chapati/roti dough.
3. This juice tastes best with palm jaggery or jaggery powder/country sugar.
