Delicious sabzi made with green chickpeas that makes for a yummy lunch or dinner. HARA CHANA MASALAIngredients1 cup fresh green chickpeas, boiled1 tbsp ghee1 tsp cumin seeds2-3 green chillies, chopped¼ tsp asafoetida½ inch ginger, finely chopped1 medium tomato, finely choppedSalt to taste2 tbsps yogurt2 tsps red chilli powder½ tsp turmeric powder¾ tsp coriander powder1½ tsps garam masala powderFreshly chopped coriander leaves for garnishMethod1. Heat ghee in non-stick pan, add cumin seeds, let the seeds change colour. Add green chillies, asafoetida, ginger, and sauté for 1 minute.2. Add tomato, salt and mix well. Cover and cook for 2-3 minutes or till tomatoes are pulpy.3. Add yogurt, and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.4. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, mix well. Add ½ cup water and mix well. Cover and cook till oil separates.5. Add green chickpeas and mix well. Add ¼ cup water, salt to adjust the seasoning, and mix well. Cover and cook for 2 minutes.6.
