WARNING: Do not eat these fire balls if you are not used to eating super spicy hot food. Make them mild or your way since this recipe is easy to customize. I have few community people who always have Habanero, Jalapeno and many kind of Chili peppers in their kitchen so I myself even thought of preparing something super spicy. These Balls taste yummy but will sure create burning sensations and I do not recommend to try out if you are not used eating spicy food. These days, many competitions going around, e.g. eating worlds hottest chilies, scorpion or ghost peppers and so on...and I used to eat hell fire spicy food when I was teenager. I ate all kinds of Indian street food and told stall vendor to make it extra spicy...I would eat until my eyes and nose is red and runny!I also ate Habanero alone, something challenging after many years, drank glass of milk and burning sensation went away after about an hour and now I am going to try scorpion chili and see what happens...hope I do not have to run to the hospital!More recipes at http://www.bhavnaskitchen.comTopics @ http://www.bhavnainthekitchen.comDownload Bhavna's Kitchen apps for Android, iPhone and iPadLike me on FACEBOOK http://www.facebook.com/superveggiedelightTweet with me on TWITTER http://www.twitter.com/bhavnaskitchenPartner Websites:http://www.indianrecipevideo.comhttp://www.veggierecipevideos.comIngredientsFOR PLANTAIN BALLS Plantain 2 , steamed and mashed Plain flour 1 Tablespoon Finely chopped onion 1⁄4 Tablespoon Minced garlic 1 Tablespoon Finely chopped cilantro/Herb 1⁄4 Cup (4 tbs) Habanero paste To Taste Salt To Taste Oil 2 Cup (32 tbs) (For deep frying)FOR SAUCE Peanut butter 2 Tablespoon Coconut milk 1⁄2 Cup (8 tbs) Habanero paste 1⁄2 TablespoonDirectionsMAKINGFor plantain balls – In a large bowl, add in all the ingredients and mix well with a spatula.Using an ice cream scoop; scoop out the mixture and place on a plate.Grease your hands with some oil and roll the balls. In a deep pan, heat the oil and deep-fry the balls, until golden brown.
