Gunta Ponganalu With Eggs | Egg Ponganalu | Gunta Ponganalu Recipe in Telugu by Hyderabadi Ruchulu

INGREDIENTS
1. Idli Or Dosa Batter
2. Eggs - 4
3. Salt - 1 Teaspoon
4. Ginger - 1 Small Piece
5. Green Chillies - 3
6. Coriander Leaves
7. Onions - 1
8. Mustard Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
9. Cumin Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon
10. Black Gram - 1 Teaspoon
11. Curry Leaves
12. Oil

We can make ponganalu with idli batter or dosa batter, here I took idli batter. Beat 4 eggs in a bowl. Add this mixture to idli batter and mix. Add 1 teaspoon salt. Add chopped ginger, chopped green chillies(or green chilli paste), diced coriander leaves, chopped onions and mix. For tempering; Heat a pan and add 1 teaspoon oil. Add 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1 teaspoon black gram and mix. As black gram starts to change colour, add chopped curry leaves and mix. Cut off the stove and add tempering to prepared batter. Heat pan and add oil in each depression. Pour prepared batter. Don't fill the depressions completely. Put a lid on the pan and cook on medium flame for 7-8 minutes. Flip them one by one and cook on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
