Gujarati Style Drumstick & Potato Vegetable By Asha Khatau | India Food Network

For all you vegetarians out there this is a great chance to learn how to make a simple and typical Gujarati style dish with drumsticks and potatoes. Instead of these healthy vegetables one can also use okra, pointed gourd, brinjal or bitter gourd.

For Tempering:

Ingredients
3-4 pieces of drumsticks, boiled and cut into 3 inch pieces
3 medium sized potatoes, boiled and cut long
1/2 a cup of chickpea flour, slightly roasted
1/4th cup of finely chopped coriander
1/4th cup of grated coconut
1 tbsp ginger chilli paste
Juice of 1 lemon
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp chilli powder
1/2 a tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
1 tsp mustard seeds
A pinch of asafoetida
