Here is how you can make this recipe: Gujarati Dal Ingredients Ghee - 1 tbsp Cloves - 2-3 no Cinnamon stick - ¼ inch Cumin seeds - ½ tsp Mustard seeds - ½ tsp Ginger Chopped - ½ tsp Garlic chopped - ½ tsp Green chilli chopped – 2 no Onion chopped - 1 small Tomatoes chopped - 1small Salt to taste Red Chilli powder - ½ tsp Turmeric powder – ½ tsp Coriander cumin powder – 1 tsp Raw peanut – 1 tbsp Garam masala powder - ¼ tsp Tovar dal soaked – 2 cup Water – 1 ½ cup Jaggery - 1 tbspMethod:-1. Heat ghee in a pressure cooker add clove, cinnamon stick, cumin seeds and mustard seeds andsauté.2. Add chopped ginger, garlic, green chilli and sauté.3. Then add chopped onion and sauté .Add chopped tomatoes, salt and sauté until tomatoes aremashed.4. Add turmeric powder, red chilli powder, coriander cumin powder, raw peanuts and garammasala powder and sauté.5. Add little water and allow the masala to cook.6. Add soaked Tovar dal and water mix. Add jaggery and cover and cook for 2-3 whistle.7.
