Cumin Seeds - 1 1/2 Teaspoon 4. Coriander Seeds - 2 Tablespoons5. Sesame Seeds - 2 Tablespoons6. Fenugreek Seeds - 1/2 Teaspoon7. Garlic Cloves - 108. Salt - 1 1/2 Teaspoon9. Tempering SeedsHeat 1 teaspoon oil in pan.Add 1/2 teaspoon fenugreek seeds, 1 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds and fryAdd 2 tablespoons coriander seeds.As they start to change colour add 2 tablespoons sesame seeds.Add dried chillies. Since the sorrel leaves are sour, we will need more dried chilliesMove it into a different plate after dried chillies start to change colourHeat 1 teaspoon oil in the same panAdd washed sorrel leaves and fry on low flame till the water seeping out of the leaves boils awayIt will take around 10 minutes for the leaves to cook completelyTurn off the stoveTo a mixie jar, add fried dried chillies & seeds mixture, garlic cloves, salt to taste and powder the mixture coarselyAdd fried sorrel leaves and grind it into a fine pasteMove it into a different bowlPrepare tempering nowHeat 2 tablespoons oil in panAdd 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds, 1/2 teaspoon cumin seeds, 1/2 teaspoon bengal gram and fryAs they start to change colour, add dried chillies.
