Chicken is marinated and air-fried till it turns beautifully golden, topped with melted butter and served with green chutney.GOLDEN TANDOORI CHICKENIngredients4 chicken legs1 lemon15-20 saffron stands, soaked in water4 tsps ginger-garlic pasteSalt to taste1 cup hung yogurt½ tsp yellow chilli powder2 tsps biryani masala2 tsps green chilli paste2 eggs2 tbsps roasted gram flour1 tsp red chilli powder2 tbsps mustard oil1 tsp Tata Sampann Turmeric PowderMelted butter as requiredGreen chutney for servingOnion rings for servingLemon wedge for servingMint sprig for servingMethod1. Give slits on chicken legs and transfer in a bowl. Squeeze lemon.2. Add saffron, ginger-garlic paste, salt and mix well. Set aside for 10-15 minutes.3. For the second marinade, take hung yogurt in plate. Add yellow chilli powder, biryani masala , green chilli paste. Break egg, separate the yolk and add white to the marinade.4. Add roasted gram flour, red chilli powder and mix well.5. Heat mustard oil in a small nonstick pan. Add Tata Sampann Turmeric Powder and cook for 10 seconds. Add this to the prepared marinade and mix well.6. Add the chicken to second marinade and mix well. Set aside to marinate for 1 hour.7. Preheat air fryer at 180ºC. Grease the air fryer basket with butter, arrange the chicken pieces on it and cook for 20-25 minutes.8. Brush butter on top. Transfer into serving plate. Serve with green chutney, onion rings, lemon wedge and mint sprig.
