Gobi Mattar(Cauliflower and green peas stirfried) | chefharpalsingh

This traditional Punjabi dish Gobi matter is a favourite vegetarian dish in all households

Ingredient
Cauliflower florets 1 no. (Small)
Green peas 1 cup
Oil 2 tbsp
Onions chopped 1 no large
Ginger and garlic paste 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ½ tsp
Red chilli powder 1tsp
Salt to taste
Green chillies chopped 2-3 no.
Tomato cubes 2 no.
Fresh coriander leaves chopped 2 tbsp
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Ginger juliennes 1tbsp

Method:-
1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add in the cumin seeds and sauté till cumin splutter.
2. Add ginger juliennes, green chilli chopped, onions, mix well and sauté for 2-3min. or till onions are lightly brown.
3. Add ginger and garlic paste, mix well.
4. Add tomatoes, cauliflower, green peas and mix well.
5. Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, salt and mix well and sauté for 2-3 mins.
6. Add water, mix well and cover and cook for 8-10 mins or until dry.
7. Lastly add chopped coriander and mix well.
8. Remove it in a serving bowl and garnish with coriander sprig, ginger juliennes.
9. Serve hot.
