DESCRIPTION:

Garlic Dal fry is a simple dal preparation made with ghee tempered with sliced garlic, spiced and semi- solid cooked dal mixed and boiled for a minute. This dish is very flavourful and aromatic. Serve with rice, phulka or roti.

INGREDIENTS:

Ghee 1 tsp
Cumin seeds ½ tsp
Garlic(slices) 1 tsp
Turmeric powder ¼ tsp
Salt To taste
Coriander leaves(chopped) ¼ bunch
Red chilly powder ½ tsp
Garam masala powder ¼ tsp
Toor dal 1 cup

METHOD:

Heat ghee in a pan, add cumin seeds, garlic slices, turmeric powder, salt, chopped coriander, red chilly powder, garam masala powder and saute it.
Add boiled toor dal mix this, cook it for 1 minute and switch off the flame.
Now garlic dal fry is ready to serve.
