Winters are incomplete without Gajrela. So we bring you this easy to cook and simply irresistible recipe of Gajrela. Make it for your friends and family and let us know how it turned out.

Ingredients:

Milk (Doodh) 3 Ltrs
Ghee 1 tbsp
Carrots (Gajar) 500g / 1/2kg (Grated carrots / Kadu kash ki hui gajar)
Rice (Chawal) 180g (Socked in water for 30 minutes)
Sugar (Cheeni) 2 cups
Cardamom Powder (Elaichi Powder) 1/4th tsp
Dry Fruits (Khushk Mewa) as requried

METHOD:
1. Add ghee in a pan.
2. Add grated carrots & fry 15-20 minutes in medium heat (set aside once done).
3. Add milk and wait until hot (don't bring to boil).
4. Add rice and stir occasionally until rice are fully cooked.
5. Add cardamom powder, sugar & dry fruits and mix.
6. Add roasted / fried grated carrots and cook on medium heat.
7. Stir continuously until become thick.
8. Dish out and Decorate with dry fruits.
9. Serve chilled.....!!!
