Gajar ka Halwa /Gajrela

In today's recipe ,we will make very tasty healthy gajar ka halwa .
We make this halwa with milk and carrot.

Ingredients:
Milk 1 litre
Carrot 1/2 kg
sugar 6tbsp
Desi Ghee 2tbsp
Cardamom powder(elaichi) 1/2tsp(optional)
Dry fruits Optional

Method:
1. Boil the milk in heavy bottom pan on high flame.
2. Once milk starts boiling, add grated carrot(gajar) and cook it on medium to high flame till milk gets reduce . Stir the mixture of milk and carrot in between so that milk doesn't get stick to the bottom
ans sides of the pan
3. Once it gets reduce, add sugar and mix it well and cook it for another 10-12 minutes on low flame.
4. After that add oil and cardamom powder to it and cook it on low flame for 4-5 minutes.
5. Add dry fruits ( Almonds, Cashews, Pistachios, raisins), and mix it .This step is optional.
6. Switch off the flame and our gajar ka halwa or gajrela is ready to serve
