Gajar halwa topped with nuts and egg whites and sugar beaten till stiff and blow torched. Gajar Halwa is a must have dessert in winter season. Everyone love to eat it. . Gajar Halwa Baked Alaska is a layered dessert consisting of halwa ,cake, ice cream . A simple, moist, yummy dessert with delicious cream frosting.

GAJAR HALWA BAKED ALASKA

Ingredients

400 grams readymade gajar halwa
2 egg whites
4 tablespoons chopped mixed nuts
A pinch cream of tartar
2 tablespoons castor sugar

Method

1. Spread a layer of gajar halwa into individual small earthenware pots. Top with 1 tablespoon chopped nuts and spread some more gajar halwa on top.
2. Take egg whites in a bowl. Add cream of tartar and beat well.
3. Add castor sugar and continue beating till stiff peaks are achieved.
4. Fill a piping bag, fitted with a star nozzle, with the beaten egg whites and pipe over gajar halwa in each pot. Brulee the egg whites with a blow torch.
5. Serve immediately.
