FUNNEL CAKE WITH SALT AND CHOCOLATEIngredients2 teaspoons + a pinch salt½ cup chopped dark chocolate1 cup milk1 egg2 teaspoons baking powder2 tablespoons whisky1 cups refined flour½ cup fresh cream2 tablespoons butterOil for deep-fryingMethod1. Preheat oven to 180° C.2. Take milk in a bowl. Break in egg and add baking powder, whisky, 2 teaspoons salt and flour and whisk well to make a smooth batter.3. Heat cream in a non-stick pan. Add butter and mix. Add a pinch salt and bring the mixture to boil. Add chocolate and mix till it melts. This is chocolate sauce.4. Heat sufficient oil in a pan 5. Fill a squeezy bottle with prepared milk mixture. 6. Drizzle the batter directly into the hot oil to make medium discs and deep-fry till golden and crisp. Drain on absorbent paper. 7. Fill a piping bag with chocolate sauce.8.
