Easy Anchovy / Nethili dry fish recipe with both english and tamil instructions. This is a unique one pot recipe that can be done easily with cooked or left over rice. Beginners can make this simple recipe in a jiffy. Serves - 3 to 4 peopleIngredients:1. Dried Anchovy / Nethili - 1 handful (rinse and clean).2. Eggs - 3.3. Cumin powder - 1/2 tsp.4. Black pepper powder - 1/2 tsp.5. Garlic cloves (crushed) - 7 to 8.6. Onion, big - 1.7. Curry leaves - 1 sprig.8. Tomato - 2.9. Kuzhambu chilli powder - 2 tsp + 1/4 tsp (or use 1/2 tsp chilli powder + 1 tsp coriander powder).10. Turmeric powder - 1/4 tsp + 1 pinch.11. Rice - 1.5 cups rice soaked and cooked (or use left over rice).12. Oil - as required.13. Salt - to taste.14. Coriander - to garnish.Tips:1. Use the same wok for the entire recipe as it'll enhance the flavour. 2. Left over rice can be used in place of fresh rice.3. Ensure to fry the anchovies/nethili well before adding tomato. Also, fry the dry fish without mixing with onions in the wok. 4. You can use any type of rice for this recipe - Basmati, Boiled rice, Raw rice, Jeera sambha except sticky rice.
