This cheesy fried sandwich is the delicious love child of mozzarella sticks and grilled cheese. Full recipe below!Subscribe to Jen: http://taste.md/1T2BCK8INGREDIENTS4 bread slices, crusts removed¼ lb fresh mozzarella2 eggs¼ cup milk4 tbsp all-purpose flourcanola oil for fryingoptional puttanesca filling: capers, anchovy fillets, kalamata olives, sundried tomatoes, fresh basilmarinara sauce for dippingMETHODPlace 2 slices of mozzarella in between 2 slices of bread. If you’re adding the puttanesca filling, combine those ingredients in a mortar and pestle or processor, and spread onto the bread before adding the cheese. Keep the sandwich whole or slice diagonally into triangles.Prep the dredging station: place flour in one dish, and combine eggs and milk in another dish.
