Fried Idlis with Curd Dip turns leftover idlis into an exotic snack, served with a veggie-loaded curd dip.Preparation Time: 10 minutes.Cooking Time: 9 minutes.Serves 6. 10 leftover idlis , cut into long stripsOil for deep-fryingTo be mixed into a curd dip1¼ cups whisked thick curds (dahi)½ cup grated carrot1 tsp finely chopped green chillies2 tbsp finely chopped capsicum2 tbsp finely chopped onions2 tbsp fresh cream2 tbsp grated processed cheese2 tbsp milkSalt to taste1. Heat the oil in a deep non-stick kadhai and deep-fry the idli strips, a few at a time, till they turn golden brown in colour from all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.Serve immediately with curd dip.
