Serves 4 persons as appetizer
If you have tried my recipe for feta parcels then with this new, rare recipe, you are in for a real treat! This superb, impressive "parcel" really goes one step further.
First, you prepare a simple pastry which is used to wrap around the feta slices. Furthermore, feta is stuffed/layered with tomatoes and spicy peppers.
You pan fry the delicate parcel and then drizzle it with Greek honey, infused with ouzo and to finish this extraordinary appetizer, you sprinkle chopped walnuts on top.

INGREDIENTS:
Ingredients for the pastry:
1/3 cup / 40 gr / 1.4 oz Self-rising Flour
tsp. Salt
tbsp. / 7.5 ml Olive Oil
About 2 tbsp. / 25-30 ml Warm Water

Ingredients for the Feta Parcel:
150 gr / 5.3 oz Feta Cheese, cut in two pieces cm / 0.2 in thick each
fresh Tomato, cut in rounds
3 medium-hot, pickled Green Peppers, finely sliced
0.8 cup / 200 ml Olive or Vegetable Oil, for frying
2 tbsp. / 30 ml Greek Thyme Honey
tbsp. / 8 ml Ouzo
20 gr / 0.7 oz chopped Walnuts (or Pistachios/Hazelnuts)
