Fried Chicken Steak Chef Harpal Singh

Fried chicken steak is a popular dish made from boneless chicken breast or thigh meat that is breaded and fried until it's crispy and golden brown. It's a delicious and savory dish enjoyed in many parts of the world, often served with various side dishes and sauces.

Ingredient Quantity
Chicken Breast 2 no
Salt to taste
Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
Vinegar 2 tsp
Soya sauce 2 tsp
Red chilli sauce 2 tsp
Black pepper crushed 1 tsp
Chilli flakes 1 tsp + for sprinkle
Mix herbs 1 tsp + for sprinkle
Bread crumbs 1 cup
Egg 2 no
Corn starch 2 tbsp
Water as required
Oil for frying
Peri peri sauce for garnish
Mustard sauce for serving

Method:
1. Slice the chicken breasts in half lengthwise and using back side of knife, Pound until the chicken is spread thinly.
2. Marinate the chicken with salt, ginger garlic paste and vinegar.
3. Place it in plate. Add soya sauce, red chilli sauce, black pepper crushed, chilli flakes, mix herbs and rub it well. Keep it aside for an hour.
4. Take bread crumbs in a plate and keep it aside.
5. Break the eggs in another plate, add corn starch and rub well.
6. Add little water and rub well.
7. Add marinated chicken in egg mixture than dip in bread crumbs and coat well.
8. Heat oil in kadai. Fry the chicken from the both side till golden brown and crisp.
9. Remove it on absorbent paper.
10. Cut the chicken into strips and place it on serving plate, sprinkle mustard sauce, some mix herbs, chilli flakes, peri peri sauce on top and serve hot.
