In making these delicious summer treats, you can use just about any fruits you like. I chose watermelon and grapes for the liquid part because those fruits have a high water content.

Then I used strawberries, kiwis and blueberries because they are some of my favorite fruits.

So get some popsicle molds and try this recipe out. A few things to keep in mind when you buy your popsicle molds.

1. Think about the final size of your popsicles. If you are feeding small children then you may not want very large molds.

2. I like the molds when you can take one popsicle out at a time. Some are all connected and you have to defrost say 6 at a time.

3. Think about the color. I wish that I had bought clear ones so you can see what the fruit looks like when you are setting these up. Also think about what kind of plastic they are made out of. I am leery about buying one's made in China.

4. The stick part of the mold. If it's flat like mine are in the video and you are serving these to kids... well you may end up with a drippy mess on your hands. Just something to consider.
If you buy the ones that have a cup around the bottom, you'll have less drips.

Recipe:

Mix watermelon and grapes (organic if you can) in a blender until liquified.

Chop up your desired fruit. In my case it was strawberries, kiwi, and blueberries.

Drop in some fresh fruit into each mold and fill it with the watermelon/grape mixture. Add the stick to each mold and freeze preferably over night.

To serve, rinse under warm/hot water for just a few seconds then squeeze the mold while pulling on the stick. It should pop right out.

Enjoy!
