Here’s a drool-worthy salsa prepared with fresh Washington Apples to brighten up your day. I’m enjoying it with baguette slices. What are you going to pair it with?
APPLE SALSA

Ingredients

3 US Red Apples
2 tbsps lemon juice
½ small bunch of fresh coriander leaves
½ small bunch of fresh parsley leaves
1 large onion, finely chopped
2-3 green chillies, finely chopped
Salt to taste
Crushed black peppercorns
Toasted baguette slices to serve
Lemon wedges for garnish
Fresh coriander sprig for garnish

Method

1. Finely chop US Red Apple and transfer it into a large bowl. Add lemon juice and mix well.
2. Finely chop coriander leaves and parsley leaves. Transfer this into the bowl with the apples.
3. Add onion and green chillies, salt, and crushed black peppercorns and mix well. Set aside for 1 hour.
4. Transfer the salsa into a serving bowl, garnish with lemon wedge and coriander sprig. Serve with toasted baguette slices.
