Foreigner tries DINUGUAN (pig blood stew) in the Philippines! [Reaction and review]

In this video, I visited a restaurant in Makati, Philippines to check out an exotic dish - dinuguan! This is a soup or stew made from pig's blood! The soup is thick and dark brown in color. While the original dinuguan is made with innards from the pig, I opted to head to a restaurant chain called Zubuchon. Zubuchon uses lechon (roasted pig). I think this is a great way to try dinuguaun as a foreigner and for the first time!

As a foreigner tries dinuguan, I was hesitant at first as I was afraid the taste wouldn't be so great. However, I found the stew to be salty, spicy, and tad sour. It was paired with puto - a steamed rice cake. The rice cake was a bit sweet, and paired really well with the dinuguan.

For foreigners who want to try Filipino foods for the first time - I would recommend checking dinuguan out! Don't be scared of the base ingredient!
