Foraging Mushrooms UK - Porcini (Boletus edulis)

Through this video, we're going to take a look at how we can all safely forage for Porcini mushrooms which are also known in some countries as Penny Bun Mushrooms, Ceps or King Bolete.

These Wild Mushrooms can be foraged in plenty of different woodland locations and are possibly one of the most foraged wild mushrooms found in the world. The flavour and texture of these are just exceptional.

Through this video, we'll look at some of our favourite ways to cook with our foraged wild Porcini mushrooms as well as the potential lookalikes for Porcini mushrooms.

There's not mush you can confuse this one with to be honest but the main one to keep your eye out for is the bitter bolete which we have a video for too and you'll know if you ave picked that one for the pot by accident. It's not toxic but is super bitter!
