Flaky Stuffed Gujiya Festive Delights with Nutralite Diwali Special Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

STUFFED FLAKY GUJIYA

Ingredients

cup refined flour (maida) + for dusting
cup melted Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread + as required
Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread to spread
Stuffing
8-10 cashew nuts, chopped
6-8 almonds, chopped
10-12 pistachios, chopped
1 cups crumbled khoya/mawa
cup chopped seedless dates
tsp green cardamom powder
Pistachio powder to sprinkle
Dried rose petals to sprinkle

Method

1. Take refined flour in a bowl. Add Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread and mix till the mixture comes together. Add cup water, mix and knead into a semi-soft dough. Cover and set aside for 10-15 minutes.
2. For the stuffing, heat a non-stick pan and dry roast cashew nuts, almonds, and pistachios for a minute.
3. Take khoya in a bowl, Add dates, roasted nuts, green cardamom powder and mix well.
4. Preheat the air fryer at 180.
5. Divide the dough into small portions. Shape each portion into a ball. Flatten out each ball into a disc. Dust some refined flour on the worktop and roll out into roundels.
6. Apply some Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread, sprinkle some refined flour. Fold in half, apply some more Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread and fold like fan.
7. Gather the edges and tuck the loose end underneath the flat dough portion.
8. Roll out into a thick disk. Dust some refined flour on the round cookie/ ravioli cutter and cut the disks into small roundels.
9. Apply water on the edges, place a portion of the stuffing in the centre and fold one half over other half to form a crescent shape.
10. Apply some more melted Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread on gujiyas and arrange on air fryer basket and air fry for 10-12 minutes or till done.
11. Apply melted Nutralite Doodhshakti Probiotic Butter Spread, sprinkle pistachio powder, dried rose petals and serve.
