Heat water in a pan and add the bitter melon roundels, pinch of turmeric and salt and put the lid on, let it cook till bitter melon is tender. 2. In a blender add ½ tsp of cumin seeds, green chilli, garlic, jaggery, salt and soaked tamarind and also add curry leaves blend it a coarse paste. In this add boiled bitter melon pieces and onion pieces again make a coarse paste. 3.
