FATTA FAT CHUTNEY - BITTER MELLON CHUTNEY | Vahchef - VahRehVah

Bitter gourd chutney is a nutritional recipe that goes well with rice.

Ingredients:
Bitter melon 100 Grams
Turmeric 1 Pinch
Salt To taste
Cumin seeds 1/2 Teaspoons
Green chilli 3 Numbers
Garlic 5 Numbers
Jaggery 1 Tablespoons
Tamarind (soaked) 10 Grams
Onion 1 Numbers

Directions:
1.Cut Bitter melon into roundels and remove the seeds. Heat water in a pan and add the bitter melon roundels, pinch of turmeric and salt and put the lid on, let it cook till bitter melon is tender.

2. In a blender add ½ tsp of cumin seeds, green chilli, garlic, jaggery, salt and soaked tamarind and also add curry leaves blend it a coarse paste. In this add boiled bitter melon pieces and onion pieces again make a coarse paste.

3. Serve this with roti.
