Eggless Cake In Oven | Without Condensed Milk | Eggless Cake Recipes | Kanak's Kitchen

Watch my special version of Eggless Cake recipe prepared in Oven without using any condensed milk. Also called as Thandai Cake which is very easy to make and perfect dish for our Indian festival 'Holi.

Thandai is an Indian cold drink it acts as a coolant to the body during summer heat. But today, we give it a twist and will prepare a Thandai cake with all the essential cooling basic ingredients in it. The Thandai cake comes out so moist and beautiful and it is fulled with all the traditional ingredients which will be a refreshing treat for you this summer. So beat the heat and celebrate Holi with this traditional yet different recipe. Wishing everyone a very happy and a safe Holi to everyone.

INGREDIENTS:
1.5 cups all purpose flour/maida (200gms)
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 baking soda
1 cup plain yogurt beaten (125 gms)
1 tsp lemon juice/vinegar
1 cup powdered sugar or more as per taste (200 gms)
1/2 oil/melter butter (100 ml)
2 tbsp thandai masala/powder/syrup
Few strands of saffron soaked in 3 tbsp milk
Few dried rose petals (optional)
1/2 tsp rose water/essence
3-4 tbsp chopped almonds & pistachios

FOR THANDAI POWDER:

Almond/Badam - 12-15
Cashew nuts – 8-10
Melon seeds - 2 tbsp
Khus khus – 3 tbsp
Fennel seeds – 2 tbsp
Pepper corns – 4-5
Cardamom – 6-8
Saffron threads - Few
Sugar - 1/2 cup
Dried Rose petals - 1 tbsp or 15 nos OR rose essence - 1 tsp
Take all the ingredients for thandai masala and Grind them to a fine powder using a blender.
