Scooped out sour dough bread filled with a mixture of colourful bell peppers, chicken sausage and egg mixture. Then baked to perfection. EGGS IN A BREAD BOWL - (Serves - 4)Ingredients4 eggs2 sourdough breads1 tablespoon oil1 tablespoon chopped garlic1 medium onion, roughly chopped1 cup cubed mixed bell peppers4-6 chicken sausages, cut into pieces Salt to tasteCrushed black peppercorns to taste½ cup grated cheddar cheese½ cup grated processed cheese Method1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan. Add garlic and sauté well. Add onion and sauté till light brown.2. Add mixed peppers, mix and sauté for 2 minutes. Add sausage, salt and crushed peppercorns and toss well. Cook for a minute and transfer the mixture into a bowl. Add eggs.3. Discard the top portion of the breads and scoop out to make a bread bowl. 4. Add cheddar cheese and processed cheese to the cooked mixture and mix well.5. Fill the bread bowl with the prepared egg mixture, place it on a baking tray, put the tray in the preheated oven and bake till the egg is cooked.6. Serve hot.
