Today, let's see how to make tomato rasam in 10 minutes. This quick rasam is easy to make and is great for those early mornings when there is too little time on our hands.

Dice 3 tomatoes and add them to a mixie jar

Grind into a paste

Add this to a pressure cooker along with 1 1/2 glass water, 2 diced green chilies, 1 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and 1/2 tsp chili powder

Mix, close lid and cook for 1 whistle

Open the lid after cooker cools down and add juice of 10 grams tamarind along with desired amount of water

Let the rasam simmer

Lets prepare rasam powder need

Grind 1 tsp coriander seeds, 1/2 tsp pepper, 1/4 tsp fenugreek seeds into a powder

Add 7-8 garlic cloves crush them

Put the powder aside

Heat 1 1/2 tsp oil in pan

Add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds, 1/2 tsp cumin seeds, 2 dried chilies, curry leaves and fry

Add the prepared rasam powder and fry for a minute

Add this tempering to the rasam and let it simmer for 2-3 minutes

Sprinkle some coriander leaves on top and cut off the stove

Tomato rasam is ready to serve!

Tomatoes - 3
Garlic Cloves - 7-8
Green Chilies - 2
Turmeric Powder - 1/2 tsp
Chili Powder - 1/2 tsp
Tamarind - 10 grams
Coriander Seeds - 1 tsp
Pepper - 1/2 tsp
Fenugreek Seeds - 1/4 tsp
Mustard Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1/2 tsp
Dried Chilies - 2
Curry Leaves - 1/4 cup
Coriander Leaves - 1/4 cup
Salt - 1 tsp
Oil - 1 1/2 tsp
