Heat ghee in a pot, add onion and cook until slightly brown. Add ginger-garlic paste and cook until it's brown in color.2. Add water and cook for 2-3 minutes on medium-low flame.3. Add chicken and cook until it changes color. Add black pepper, turmeric and cook for 2 minutes.4. Add water, give it a good mix. Cover with lid and let it cook on medium-low flame until water dries out.5. Remove the lid and cook chicken for 2-3 minutes. Take off flame and set aside.Directions for Garam masala sachet preparation:6. Take a muslin cloth, add garlic pods, coriander seeds, cinnamon stick, and bay leaf and make a sachet.
