HOW TO MAKE ZARDA:
INGREDIENTS:
1. Rice (2cups)
2.ghee(6tbsp)
3.green cardamom(4)
4.water (1/4 cup)
5.sugar(1.5 cups)
6.milk(1/4 cup)
7.almonds(handful)
8.cashewnuts(handful)
9.raisins(handful)
10.mawa(125g)
11..yellow food colour(2 drops)
12.green food colour(2drops)
13.red food colour(2 drops)
walnuts(handful)

METHOD :

1.Boil the rice till fully cooked.. Drain n keep aside

2..put ghee in a pan. Let it melt

3..add cardamoms n fry.

4..pour water n sugar. Let the sugar melt..

5..as the sugar bubbles, pour milk.. Let it cook till it sticks to your fingers

6..add boiled rice.. Coat in sugar.. Let it dry

7..add nuts n mawa.. Add colours

8..let it simmer on slow flame for 10 minutes

9..mix n enjoy
