Date Honey Banana Shake

This energy filled shake is a great way to start your day. If you are hungry and not in a mood to cook you will get all the nutrients , if you have one serving of this revitalizer.

Preparation Time: 5 minutes
Cooking Time: 5 minutes
Makes 1 glass

Ingredients
1/4 cup dates (khajur) , deseeded
1 cup milk
1/2 banana
1 tbsp honey
4 to 6 ice cubes

Method
1. Heat the milk in a broad non-stick pan, add the dates and cook on a medium flame for 1 to 2 minutes and soak the dates in it for 10 to 15 minutes till the dates soften and the milk is cold. Keep aside.
2. Combine the date-milk mixture, banana and honey alongwith ice-cubes and blend in a mixer till smooth.
3. Serve immediately.
