Dark Chocolate Tart | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

This simple and elegant Dark Chocolate Ganache Tart can be topped with anything you like. Go ahead give it a try and serve it to your loved ones

DARK CHOCOLATE TART

Ingredients

1 cup chopped dark chocolate
15-20 dark cream biscuits + as required
¼ cup melted butter
¾ cup fresh cream

Method

1. Preheat oven at 180º C.
2. Discard the cream from dark biscuits and transfer in a bowl.
3. Grind the biscuits to make a fine powder and transfer in the same bowl. Add melted butter and mix well.
4. Line a rectangular aluminium tart mould with biscuit-butter mixture. Place a butter paper on top of the lined mould and fill it with some beans. Put the mould on a baking tray. Place the baking tray in preheated oven and blind bake for 10 minutes.
5. To prepare ganache, heat cream in a non-stick pan and bring to boil. Add chopped chocolate and whisk till it melts and well incorporated.
6. Fill the baked tart with ganache and tap.
7. Roughly break few dark cream biscuits and place them on prepared tart. Refrigerate till set.
8. Demould, cut into wedges and serve.

Preparation Time: 65-70 minutes
Cooking Time: 10-15 minutes
