Dal Makhani

Ingredients:-

Black Urad Dal - 1 cup
Butter - 1/2 cup
Ghee - 2 tb spn
Cumin - 1/2 tsp
Garlic chopped - 1 tb spn
Ginger chopped- 1 tb spn
Onion chopped - 1/2(optional)
Chilli powder- 1 tb spn
Turmeric- 1/4 tsp
Coriander powder- 1 tsp(optional)
Tomato pure- 1 cup
Kasuri methi - Pinch
Fresh Cream - 1 cup
Salt - To Taste
Water- As Required.

Method

Wash and clean black urad dal and soak them overnight. Then pressure cook the dal till its soft.
In a kadai add ghee, cumin, ginger, garlic, onion saut it till golden brown. Now add chilli powder, turmeric and cook it for 1 minute. Then add tomato pure and cook it till ghee oozes out. Then ad boiled dal, water coriander powder and let it cook for 10 minutes. Then add Kasuri methi. In the last add cream as shown in the video. Adjust salt and serve it with Garlic Naan.
