Dahi ki Sabzi | Cooksmart | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Ready in a jiffy, this yogurt potato sabzi is simply fantastic

DAHI KI SABZI

Ingredients

400 gms yogurt
2 tbsps oil
½ tsp cumin seeds
2 medium onions, sliced
2-3 green chillies, chopped
1 tsp coriander powder
¼ tsp turmeric powder
Salt to taste
½ cup boondi
½ tsp dried fenugreek leaves (kasoori methi)
½ tsp garam masala powder

Method

1. Heat oil in a non-stick pan, add cumin seeds and saute till their colour changes. Add onions and mix. Add green chillies and mix and saute for 2 minutes.
2. Add coriander powder and turmeric powder and mix. Add yogurt and mix. Add salt and mix well and cook, stirring, for a couple of minutes.
3. Add boondi, dried fenugreek leaves and garam masala powder and mix well.
4. Transfer into a serving dish and serve hot with roti or rice or pav.
