As always, its eggless & made with Wheat flour.

Flavourful fusion Cakes by Priya

Ingredients:
Measurement cup - 200ml = 130gms
Pan size - 6/7 inch

Milk - 1/2 cup
Saffron infused milk - 1 tbsp
Custard powder - 1/4th cup
Powdered/icing sugar - 1/2 cup
Refined oil/Melted butter - 1/4th cup
Wheat flour (Atta) - 3/4th cup
Baking powder - 1/2 tsp
Baking soda - 1/4th tsp
Bake @180* C for 30 mins.

Flavourful Tips:
-All the ingredients used should be in room temperature
-This cake is made with atta, if using maida, reduce the amount of milk by 2 tbsp, add later if required to match the batter consistency.
- Dont over-beat the cake as it will lead to dense texture
- If you want the gulab jamuns to show after baking, make sure you use a broad pan , the batter in pan should be lower than the gulab jamuns.
-Preheat the oven @ 180* for 10 mins and then bake the cake for 30 mins
-For perfect slices, cut the cake after it is cooled completely
-For baking cupcakes - Bake for 20 mins, frost with whipped cream & mini Gulabjamuns.
