Crispy Dahi Kebab | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Delicious kebabs made with hung curd and coated with corn flakes.

CRISPY DAHI KEBAB

Ingredients

1 cup corn flakes
250 grams hung yogurt
¼ cup roasted gram flour
1 tbsp chopped garlic
½ tsp nutmeg powder
¼ tsp clove powder
Crushed black peppercorns to taste
A pinch of green cardamom powder
½ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
¼ bunch of chopped fresh coriander leaves
¼ tsp chaat masala
Ghee for shallow frying
Green chutney to serve

Method

1. Add cornflakes in a plate, and crush it to form slightly coarse crumbs.
2. Takehung yogurt in a bowl. Add gram flour, garlic, nutmeg powder, clove powder, crushed black peppercorns, green cardamom powder, red chilli powder, salt, coriander and chaat masala. Mix well.
3. Shape the mixture into kebabs and coat well with cornflakes.
4. Heat ghee in a non-stick pan, add the kebabs and shallow fry till golden brown on both sides. Drain on an absorbent paper.
5. Serve hot with green chutney.
