Crispy Chicken Pakoda | Sanjeev Kapoor Khazana

Chicken cubes marinated with indian spices and deep fried to make these delicious crispy pakodas.

CRISPY CHICKEN PAKORA

Ingredients

250 grams boneless chicken breasts, cut into cubes
1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste
1 teaspoon lemon juice
¼ teaspoon turmeric powder
1 teaspoon coriander powder
½ teaspoon garam masala powder
½ teaspoon red chilli powder
½ teaspoon chaat masala
4-5 curry leaves, hand torn
1 tablespoon Kashmiri red chilli paste
1 tablespoon refined flour (maida)
2 tablespoons cornflour
Salt to taste
Oil for deep-frying

Method

1. Put chicken cubes in a bowl. Add ginger-garlic paste, lemon juice, turmeric powder, coriander powder, garam masala powder, chilli powder, chaat masala, curry leaves, chilli paste, refined flour and cornflour and mix well. Add salt and mix again.
2. Heat sufficient oil in a kadai. Deep-fry chicken cubes till golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper.
3. Serve hot with green chutney.
